They have no symptoms except that they seem small spiders and may pose a question to those who want to wear a skirt or shorts.

"The easiest policy is to ignore the veins: they are common, mild and a medically insignificant range of varicose veins. However, if the unsightly blood vessels do concern you or, more importantly, they prevent you otherwise from doing what you would enjoy, sclerotherapy is a treatment option," according to Dr. David E. Larson, editor-in-chief of the "Mayo Clinic house health Book."

How is sclerotherapy done? This involves injecting the affected area with a sclerosing agent, a chemical which closes the diseased veins and soldiery blood to voyage to other veins.
